A boy under age 12 fatally fell from an apartment building in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Police have not yet confirmed the boy's name.

The police in Kansas City (Missouri) are investigating what led to the death of a child who fell from an apartment building in downtown.

The police have not confirmed , the child’s name but they say that it was a young boy. Capt. Corey Carlisle stated Tuesday that the police are still trying to determine just how far he has fallen.

A small plane crashed near the Lake of the Ozarks, in central Missouri. Two people died and another was injured.

Just after 11 am on Monday, officers responded to the 1000 block Grand Boulevard. They found the child in an alley with “bodily injuries”. The boy was declared dead on the spot. The fall was caught on video surveillance.

The investigation is “suspicious”, but the police warn that it could be weeks before the medical examiners’ office completes a report and the police can follow up on any leads.
