A 3-year-old boy was struck dead by an alleged hit-and-run driver in New York City on Wednesday. The victim was hit by a driver who was pulling out of a parking spot.

According to police, a 3-year-old child died on Wednesday night after being hit by a suspected hit-and run driver in New York City just ten feet from his home.

Police told Fox News Digital that the victim, Quintas chen of Flushing was struck by a driver of a sedan in Flushing Queens on 41st Avenue, near College Point Boulevard.

The police said that the incident occurred after a white 2014 Infinity Q50 was parked along the side of the road.

According to the police, a 3-year-old child died on Wednesday night after he was struck by a suspected hit-and run driver in New York City.

When the began to back out, ran behind the car. He was hit as the car backed up.

The driver fled and the abandoned car was found by the police a few blocks away, according to the NYPD.

Fox News Digital reported that he lived in the next block of Sanford Avenue.

A video posted on the internet shows the scene Wednesday evening, with several vehicles present.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is still ongoing.

According to Fox News Digital, the victim was struck in Flushing Queens on 41st Avenue, near College Point Boulevard.
