San Antonio PD reported late Wednesday night they had made two arrests for the murder of pregnant Texas teen Savanah And her boyfriend Matthew Guerra.

During a press briefing, Sergeant Washington Moscoso announced that Ramon Preciado, 53, will be charged for abuse of a corpse, and Christopher Preciado, 19, will be charged for Capital Murder.

A PREGNANT TEXAS TEENS, SAVANAH SOTO AND BABY ARE SHOOT TO DEATH

The arrest was made based on key evidence found at the scene. This included Soto’s mobile phone. The United States Secret Service and SAPD technology team were able, with the help of the SAPD technology teams, to gather enough information in order to locate the vehicle that was seen in the surveillance camera footage last week.

SAPD reports that the detectives used this information to find the vehicle. After further surveillance, they were able locate the home of the suspects.

Moscoso continued to say that they believed it was a drug deal gone wrong.

Savannah has been missing for almost two weeks. Savanah, 18, and her boyfriend Matthew Guerra (22), were found dead in a gray Kia Optima parked at the Colinas at Medical Apartments, on the Northwest Side, on Dec. 26.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner has confirmed that Soto, and her boyfriend Matthew Guerra, both died of a gunshot to the head. Their deaths have been determined as homicide.

SAPD has confirmed that no further suspects are being sought in relation to the incident.

There are other charges pending.
