TOP STORY: The families of eight American hostages who are being held hostage in Gaza by Hamas terrorists launched a national TV ad campaign , calling on government officials to take all possible measures to bring the hostages home before it’s too late. The ad says, “Every second matters.” “Do everything. “Bring them home immediately.” The Hostages and Missing Families Forum paid for the advertisement, which shows images of American hostages including two who were murdered on October 7. The ads will be shown on select cable news channels beginning Thursday, and Sunday news programs.

CORRUPTION IN COLLEGE. Harvard University president Claudine Gay announced her resignation on Tuesday, marking a catastrophic failure of the leftist ideology which has dominated higher education over recent decades. William Bennett, former U.S. Department of Education secretary, told Fox News Digital that “what we see is an example of the final corruption of our elite institutions.” Bennett said that the damage done to America’s most prestigious and oldest university could have a ripple effect on society.

Claudine Gay, the president of Harvard University, resigned on Tuesday Jan. 2 in the wake controversies which sullied its reputation as America’s oldest university and one of the most prestigious.

HISTORY of Antisemitism: An visiting scholar from Harvard Divinity School called out the prestigious University for its “history” of antisemitism, and encouraged the university to “admit [it], confront (it) and overcome it.” The outrage directed towards Jews is “oddly proportionate,” according to Rabbi David Wolpe. He made headlines in December when he resigned from Harvard’s Antisemitism Advisory Group.

“MISCHARACTERIZED:The Washington Post published a long correction on Thursday to an old news article that was a month old. The Washington Post admitted it had “mischaracterized” certain aspects of the story regarding Palestinian mothers who were separated from their infants during the Israel-Hamas War. The paper’s reporting of the Israel-Hamas conflict has not been scrutinized before. The paper was criticized in October for misrepresenting the comments of Hamas terrorists as “critiques of Israel”.
