In an op-ed piece for the New York Post, Texas Governor Greg Abbott makes it clear that he will not back down in his fight against the Biden Administration on the issue of border security.
Abbott wrote in response to Biden’s administration, which did nothing about Texas’ challenges.
The Post wrote: “This challenge is not just about ruthless Mexican cartels seizing operational control of our border, or the unprecedented surge in illegal immigration.”
He added, “Most importantly, this challenge stems from a Biden Administration that is determined to impede our efforts to secure border and keep Texans in safety.”
The Department of Justice of President Biden sued Texas last month over our efforts to discourage and repel migrants who attempt the dangerous and often fatal illegal crossing of the Rio Grande Waterway through Texas.
Biden’s main concern is to prevent Texas from protecting its sovereignty, not to stop transnational criminals exploiting the border crisis in order for them make money or to discourage migrants from risking life and limb by entering America illegally.
According to U.S. Customs and Border Prtoection, the number of arrests for illegally cross into the U.S. from Mexico has increased by 33% between June and July.

Biden would prefer to sue Texas than deal with the border crisis that he caused.
He should have sent Texas a note of thanks, not a suit.
We will bring this case to the U.S. Supreme Court in order to defend our authority to secure our border. https://t.co/HkJcF7HWZ5
