According to a Fox News article, Republican Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna wants to fine California Rep. Adam Schiff $16 million dollars for his lies against former President Trump.
Luna stated that the GOP Conference agreed with Luna’s assessment of Adam Schiff, who had betrayed trust in the American people by abusing positions of authority and lying continuously. As such, Schiff must be held accountable. The resolution demands that Rep. Schiff pay a fine of $16 million dollars, which is half the amount American taxpayers had to pay to cover the Russia Hoax Investigation.

Luna’s Resolution stated that as the chair of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Schiff held a position of “extreme trust” which gave him access sensitive information unavailable to other members.
Schiff, however, “abused” this trust by citing collusion evidence that was later proven to be false in special counsel reports.
The resolution stated that Schiff “deceived Congress and the American public by repeatedly telling falsehoods.” The resolution noted that Schiff had “lent credibility” the Steele dossier and supported a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant against Trump aide Carter Page.
It said that “Representative Schiff used his position on HPSCI in order to encourage, and excuse abusive intelligence investigation against Americans for political reasons.” “Representative Schiff exploited his position and access sensitive information to initiate a fraudulently-based investigation. He then used this to gain political benefit and raise fundraising dollars.”
