After victim refuses keys, St. Louis car-jackers set off on foot to escape.

A Missouri man was shot in his left leg after refusing an order from two would-be carjackers to surrender his vehicle in St. Louis.

After confronting two men who attempted to carjack the vehicle of a man in St. Louis, he was shot.

According to the St. Louis Police on Saturday, March 18th, the victim, a 20-year-old male, was approached by two Black men while parking in the lot of a gasoline station at the 4700 block S. Spring in south St. Louis. They demanded his keys and asked for his ID.

One of the perpetrators allegedly took the victim’s car keys and shot him in the leg after he refused to give them over.

According to the St. Louis Police Department, the attackers fled on foot after the attack. The authorities confirmed that the attackers didn’t steal the victim’s car after the attack.

Witness who was present at the scene with the victim drove him to the local hospital.

According to the St. Louis Police Department, officers were called at 2:15 a.m. following the incident.
