Orange County Sheriff’s Department reported that four males and one woman were charged with assault using a deadly weapon. They were then admitted to a juvenile hall.

CBS News reports that four more minors have been charged with misdemeanor battery and assault.

According to the authorities, they have not revealed the identities of suspects because they are minors.

San Clemente mayor Chris Duncan announced that deputies had apprehended a group consisting of 40 or more people who brutally attacked three servicemen while they were on their Memorial Day Weekend near the Pier Bowl.

Duncan stated, “They believe they have the person they are searching for.” Duncan said, “It’s not to say there aren’t others.” They are pretty sure that they know who the main culprits are.

According to the mayor, investigators used video footage to track down the brutes.

Duncan said that in today’s world, people will record you. Duncan said, “I hope that this will serve as a lesson to young people in the community about not letting themselves out of control whenever something like this occurs.”

“We told them that we were Marines to get them to leave, but they didn’t.” Hunter Antonino, one of the servicemen who was involved in this incident, said that they just kept on going.
