According to The Daily Wire, the Biden Administration wants Arizona Governor Doug Ducey’s support to remove shipping containers that were used to plug holes in southern border wall. Ducey denies this.
“The Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs wrote a Tuesday letter to the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation informing the administration that the containers will not be removed until a permanent barrier has been constructed,” DW reports.
“Arizonans can’t — and won’t — wait for federal bureaucrats do their jobs and secure the border. Ducey tweeted Wednesday that “We’re taking immediate action.”

“The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation stated in a last week letter that Arizona was violating federal laws by placing containers on federal land. The container were also placed on land of Cocopah Indian Tribe’s West Reservation. The Associated Press reported Monday.” DWadded.
The letter stated that the unauthorized placing of these containers is a violation federal law and a trespass on the United States. “This trespass is a violation of federal law and is a trespass against the United States.”
A spokesperson for the governor’s Office stated that the request by the Biden Administration is not a good idea.
“Any federal bureaucracy suggesting that we take action in order to make it easier to cross the border is totally unacceptable. Gov. C.J. Ducey, Ducey’s communications director. Ducey takes Arizona’s responsibility very seriously. That’s why we put these containers up.” Karamargin, stated during a phone call with the outlet. They are suggesting that we tear them down, making Arizona less secure. This is not a good idea.
