A New York Post report claims that Paul Pelosi was attacked at his San Franciso home by Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Speaker of the House. The Speaker’s office released a statement saying that he will make a full recovery.
“An assailant entered the Pelosi residence in San Francisco early this morning and assaulted Mr. Pelosi. An investigation is underway into the motive for the attack and the assailant. He was transported to the hospital where he is receiving excellent care. It is likely that he will make a full recovery. The Speaker was not present in San Francisco at that time.
“The Speaker and her family are very grateful to all the first responders and medical professionals who helped them, and ask for privacy.”
Drew Hammill, Nancy Pelosi’s spokesperson, stated that the assailant was in custody and that a motive is being investigated. The speaker was not present in San Francisco at that time.
