A California man was arrested for allegedly possessing more than 900 images of child pornography after his wife found a hidden camera in a bathroom in their home.

After his wife discovered a hidden camera in their house and called authorities, a California man arrested him for allegedly possessing over 900 child pornography photos.

According to the Redding Police Department, Ryan Rovito (34), was confronted on March 8 by his wife after she found the camera in their guest bathroom. His wife had taken the camera and hard drive and he admitted that he knew about it.

Concerned that he had recorded their children using the bathroom, his wife called police.

Ryan Rovito (34), was arrested for possessing more than 900 child pornography photos after his wife discovered a hidden camera at their home.

The devices were searched by police and detectives conducted a preliminary forensic investigation. They revealed more than 900 images and videos of child pornography as well as multiple videos taken from the bathroom camera.

Police said that the videos showed adults and children using the bathroom, seemingly unaware they were being recorded.

Ryan Rovito’s wife called police to report that he had videotaped their children using the bathroom.

Rovito was stopped at a traffic light and taken to police with an arrest warrant.

Ravito was arrested in connection to the possession of child pornography, and the secret recording of an identifiable individual who was undressed. He was taken to the Shasta County Jail.
