Experts in legal matters, familiar with Casey Anthony’s 2011 Florida trial, and the claims made more than a decade later in an approaching tell-all, weigh in on her new accusations against her father. One question was, “How do you trust her?”

Anthony, the mother who was famously acquitted of the 2008 Florida death her 2-year old daughter, Caylee, died, said to filmmakers that she told the truth about what had happened more than a decade ago.

She said that she had admitted to lying, but no one inquired why.

Anthony did not accuse her father, George Anthony (71), of intentionally killing Caylee but strongly accused him of being involved.

“I don’t believe anything she says.”

Julie Rendelman, New York City Criminal Defense Attorney, to Fox News Digital

Fox News Digital was told by attorneys from all parts of the country that it would be difficult for law enforcement officials to take any comments made by the 36-year-old woman seriously.

Marc Shiner, a former prosecutor and West Palm Beach trial lawyer, stated that she was found guilty of lying in the police investigation.

A prosecutor would not be able to bring George Anthony charges based solely on Casey Anthony’s words.

“How can you trust her?” He explained that she was sentenced to three years in prison for lying. “Of course, if there is enough evidence to indict someone, it could happen at any time. It doesn’t matter if it happens 50 years from now or ten years later. However, based on her words, it doesn’t seem likely that this will ever happen.

He said that the prosecution would need to cooperate with them, they would need a confession and someone else would be needed to confirm her statements.

He continued, “But only on her word it’s extremely unlikely that anything would occur.”

“Casey Anthony – Where the Truth Lies,” documents Anthony’s first appearance on camera since her conviction of lying to police and Caylee’s murder.

Each episode lasts over an hour and features interviews with former members of Anthony’s defense team. Baez stated previously that he had never seen the show or was not involved.

Anthony stated that he was not accusing him of murder but that it wasn’t an accident at the pool. The three-part series was provided by Fox News Digital ahead of its Nov. 29 release.

Fox News Digital spoke to George Anthony on Wednesday, stating that he had been in touch with an attorney. Fox News Digital reached out to him on Tuesday and he declined to comment, stating that he would like to see the entire documentary. Fox News Digital didn’t have access to Anthony’s show footage.

CASEY Anthony MYSTERY: WHERE ARE NOW THEY?

Anthony, in a clip taken from the documentary, described how Caylee and she were sleeping together in her bed when her father woke her up shaking her and asking her where Caylee was. She continued to say that she searched her house for Caylee until she found her father, “standing there with him.”

She said, “She’s soaking shet.” “He handed her over to me, telling me it was my fault. That’s what I did. It was my fault. He didn’t rush for 911 or try to revive her. I collapsed in her arms.”

Anthony stated that Caylee was both “heavy” & “cold”.

Casey Anthony claimed that she left the scene and spent 31 days with her boyfriend. However, she kept silent about what she saw. She said that she believed Caylee was still living.

She said that her father kept telling her she was fine. “I was in touch with my father …. I wanted answers. “When will I see her?” What will stop us from continuing this cycle? Is she okay?

When she was asked about what had happened between the time she last saw her daughter, and the time when the police were notified she replied, “I was meeting with George when he wanted me to meet him at his house. He kept me waiting for him to give me the address. He kept telling me that if I did the right thing, Cindy would be happy. Because if I did the right thing, he made me believe Caylee was still alive and she was okay. He was there the whole time.”

Anthony’s trial lasted over a month. Her parents and brother were called as witnesses.

Baez claimed that Caylee drowned inadvertently and her death was covered up. Casey, however, said that she doesn’t believe her daughter drowned above ground in her family’s pool. Prosecutors argued that Casey Anthony drowned the girl with chloroform, then covered her mouth with duct tape.

Krystal Holloway, a woman claiming to have been in an extramarital affair with George Anthony following Caylee’s disappearance testified that he said that it was an “accident that snowballed outof control.”

Anthony was found not guilty of first degree murder, aggravated kid abuse and aggravated manslaughter after a jury deliberated for eleven hours. Four counts of lying to police were convicted.

Shiner was present at the Anthony trial, and is familiar with the facts of the case. However, he is not involved in any other aspects of the case. He stated that he believed someone “may have been involved in the killing of” Caylee.

Even if there were more evidence against Casey Anthony she could not be charged with Caylee’s murder in state court. Shiner said that they might have suspected her not to be solely responsible for Caylee’s murder based on the fact that Anthony was found not guilty.

Julie Rendelman, a former New York City prosecutor-turned-criminal defense attorney, also noted the verdict, but from a different standpoint.

“A jury returned with a verdict. They argued that the prosecution hadn’t proved their case beyond reasonable doubt. She stated that it wasn’t that she didn’t do it, but that it was simply not enough evidence.” Fox News Digital.

Rendelman stated that Anthony’s lies after Caylee died “do not fit with the narrative she is describing now.”

She pointed out Anthony’s false claim about Zenaida Gonzalez as a nanny and her failure not to notify police until Cindy called 31 days later.

“Absolutely absurd. This is the mother. Rendelman stated that she doesn’t get to see the child for 31 consecutive days. “I believe it’s just another opportunity to shine a spotlight on her and clear her name.”

She said, “I don’t believe anything she says.”
