CHRISTIE IS HERE! Former NJ Gov files paperwork with FEC to run in 2024

It’s official —Chris Christie is running for president.

Chris Christie has officially announced his presidential bid.

According to a Fox Newsreport the former New Jersey governor Chris Christie will be running for the GOP nomination in the year 2024.

Christie was once a close ally of Donald Trump, but now he is one of the most vocal critics.

Former Garden State Governor. The former Garden State Gov.

From Fox News:

Christie was the first of the GOP 2016 candidates to endorse Trump. He served as a top adviser for the then-president, including chairing his high-profile opioid commission. The two fell out over Trump’s failed attempts to reverse his loss of the 2020 presidential election to Biden. Christie has been one of the most vocal Trump opponents in the GOP over the last two years.

Christie has publicly considered a presidential run in 2024 for more than a year. He has recently expressed dissatisfaction about the current state of the race. He has expressed his dissatisfaction with the Republican field and accused candidates of being unwilling to challenge the frontrunner directly.

Christie, who was known for his in-your face politics, which Trump also excelled at, has claimed that he has the debate skills to take on Trump if he were to meet the former president.

“I know my strengths.” I can articulate an argument. I know how to do it. I know how to make it. I think I have ideas that people will be genuinely interested in. If you possess these qualities, then you are likely to succeed. “There are no guarantees, but there is a good chance,” Christie said to Fox News Digital in April during a stop in New Hampshire.

In the race to beat GOP frontrunner Donald Trump, Christie is joined by former Vice President Mike Pence and former UN ambassador Nikki Haley. Also in the mix are Florida Governor Ron DeSantis; South Carolina Senator Tim Scott; businessman Vivek RAMASWAMY, talk-radio host Larry Elder; and others.
