COMER FLAMES THE FEDS: “Americans have lost trust in the FBI,” Intros Resolution To Hold Wray In Contempt

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has introduced a resolution to hold FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt for refusing to turn over the FD-1023 record containing information on an alleged $5 million dollar bribery scheme involving President Joe Biden.

James Comer, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, has presented a resolution that holds FBI Director Christopher Wray for contempt because he refused to hand over FD-1023 which contained information about an alleged $5,000,000 bribery plot involving Joe Biden.

Comer issued a statement on Wednesday morning.

“We were clear that the FBI had to produce the unclassified FD-1023 records in the custody of House Committee on Oversight and Accountability. The FBI has yet to comply with the subpoena we issued and refused to acknowledge the existence of the FD-1023 record until last week. After Director Wray acknowledged the existence of the records, the FBI began their coverup. They leaked a false narrative into the media. Comer stated that the FBI, the White House and Democrats would like the American public to believe the case was closed.

The FBI has lost the trust of the American people. They want answers, transparency and accountability. The Oversight Committee is responsible for ensuring that the federal government and the American people are held accountable.

Comer announced the news on Twitter:

On Monday, Comer Jamie Raskin and ranking member of the Maryland committee viewed document FD-1023 at FBI headquarters. The document is a collection of interview notes taken by a longtime FBI source who claimed that Vice President Joe Biden had been involved in a corruption scheme. Comer has sought hard copies of this document on numerous occasions, but FBI officials have claimed that doing so would compromise an ongoing investigation.

The Oversight Committee will mark up the resolution of contempt at an hearing on Thursday, and then vote whether to hold Wray for contempt. The resolution should pass.
