Dallas, Texas, police, with help from the U.S Marshal’s Task Force arrested a man on Saturday for murdering two people in a period of 36 hours, according to reports.
Police stated that officers responded at approximately 5:30 p.m. to a shooting at Family Dollar Store on Ledbetter Drive on December 1. When they arrived, Tenery Walker, 46, was found in the back with a gunshot wound.
Walker was taken to Dallas by EMS personnel who treated him and then transported him to a local hospital. Walker died from his injuries.

An initial investigation revealed that Walker, 22-year-old Diavian Roberts, stepped out of the store and was asked to leave.
Roberts shot Walker right away, according to police, and fled the scene.
Fox station KDFW Dallas reported that Roberts was shoplifting when Walker confronted and told him to go.
Roberts went back to the store to talk with Walker about a job. Walker approached Roberts and he was shot.

KDFW reported that Roberts was also mentioned in the affidavit.
Dallas Police were informed by Lancaster Police that a fatal shooting took place at a Lancaster gas station on Saturday morning.
After an argument Ronnie Wilson (46) was shot multiple times in the parking lot at the gas station. Police reviewed surveillance video and determined that the suspect was also Roberts.

He was still at large until U.S. Marshal’s Task Force members on Saturday afternoon captured him.
Roberts was arrested on two counts of murder. Bond was set at $1,000,000
