The Progressives don’t want Joe Biden seeking a second term.
According to The Washington Times,a left wing group launched a campaign for low-poll Joe to stay off the 2024 Democratic ticket. The group said America “shouldn’t gamble on Joe Biden’s low approval rating.”

RootsAction, the grassroots organization that backed Vermont Democratic socialist Senator Bernard Sanders’ bid for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016, and 2020, launched its digital ad campaign “Don’t Run Joe”. It was targeted at New Hampshire Democrats, which has traditionally hosted the first presidential primaries.
According to the Don’t Run Joe website statement, group backers stated that renominating Mr. Biden was a “tragic error” and that the U.S. will be confronted with the “dual imperatives” of keeping a Republican takeover in the White House and pushing a truly progressive agenda.
The statement stated that a president is not his party king and he does not have an automatic right to renomination. ” Joe Biden shouldn’t seek it. he does it, he has a fight on ‘s hands.
Biden stated that “I think everyone wants me to run”, but that there would be discussions. He also indicated to reporters that he would make his decision “early next Year”.
