Five injured in Georgia house gathering shooting

Five people were injured by gunfire during a gathering at a home in coastal Georgia, according to police. The victims were treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police reported that five people were wounded by gunfire in the early hours of Friday morning at a house on Georgia’s coast.

Glynn county police officers responded to a call just before midnight on Friday. They found a person who had been shot in the middle of a large crowd. Four other people who were shot in the same place are being treated by a local hospital, according to investigators.

The wounded were all between the ages of 18 and 21, and four of them had injuries considered non-life-threatening, police said.

Police announced that no arrests were made.

The shootings took place in a residential area just outside of the port city Brunswick, located about 70 miles south from Savannah.
