As he was being arrested by the police for murdering an autistic teenage boy, a Florida man smiled.
Geremy Doel Navarr, 20, is charged with the murder of Ferron Williams, 19, a 19-year old autistic boy, on January 27, 2022. According to FOX35, the incident took place across the street from Hardee’s Restaurant.
Navarro is facing first-degree murder charges.
Jeff Walczak was a spokesperson for the Ocala police department. He stated that at the time “We know that the young male was using WiFi from a local restaurant on his porch and that’s when a shooter arrived and shot him from the roadway.”

After being shot, the teenager fled from his home and collapsed on a nearby sidewalk.
Ocala Police Chief Mike Balken expressed his hope for justice to be done to Navarro.

“I would like to thank the hard work of the detectives who worked tirelessly over the past 14 months to bring closure on the horrible murder that Ferron Williams, 19, committed. Balken stated that Geremy Navarr was arrested because of their persistence in the investigation. “I am proud to announce that justice will be served.”
