Georgian students are expelled from school after an individual accidentally sets fire to the bathroom. Officials

Georgia officials say an individual intentionally started a fire inside a high school bathroom on Wednesday morning, forcing the school to dismiss students.

After an individual set fire to a bathroom, students at a Georgia highschool were expelled from class.

According to Athens Clarke County, the incident occurred at Cedar Shoals High School. Officials responded to a call about smoke in a bathroom at 9:21 AM.

Firefighters and other school officials discovered that there was black water on the ground and in the hallway.

Officials claim that visibility was zero when firefighters entered the bathroom due to the smoke volume.

Firefighters discovered that a toilet paper dispenser had been set on fire while they were in the bathroom.

According to a county press release, no injuries were sustained in the fire. The Athens Clarke County Police Department “detained a suspect to question.”

According to FOX, the high school allowed students to leave class at 10:45 a.m. in order for them to learn early.
