During the school’s spring break, a Ohio State University student was killed.
Henry Meacock, a finance major from New Jersey was mentioned by a university spokesperson in a statement to Fox News on Friday.
The spokesman stated that the Ohio State community suffered a devastating loss and offered his deepest condolences.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones during this extremely difficult time.”

Additional details regarding the cause of Meacock’s passing were not immediately available.
A New Jersey woman posted on Instagram that she claims to be Meacock’s sibling and said, “words can’t describe how much we miss you.”

The Ohio State University logo is at the top right of Ohio Stadium. Meacock was a soccer player in New Jersey high school before moving to Ohio State University.
She said, “It hurts not to breathe without you.” You are an very special soul that will continue to live. You are the most beautiful boy. Your smile is unmatched. You are an inspiration to me in every way.

“Our soccer family is devastated by this terrible news…please keep the Meacock family at your prayers…We send love and condolences.” The Westfield, New Jersey boys soccer team wrote on Facebook.
Meacock was part of the Class of 2021 at the high school, which was the new post.
