Social media users ridiculed Hillary Clinton‘s declaration that “right-wing extremists” are plotting to “steal the 2024 presidential elections in a video posted online to highlight what “keeps her awake at night.”
“I know that we are all focused on the 2022 midterm elections and they are extremely important. But we must also look ahead because, as you know, our enemies are certainly looking ahead. Clinton stated that right-wing extremists have already made a plan to steal the next presidential election and that they are not hiding it.
Clinton said that the right-wing-controlled Supreme Court might be asked to rule on whether state legislatures have the power to overturn presidential election results. “Just think, if that happens, the 2024 presidential election could be decided not by the popular vote or even the anachronistic Electoral College but by state legislatures, many of them Republican-controlled.”
Clinton stated that there was “also good news” in the face “of this very real threat against Democracy” and asked for supporters to support Indivisible’s Crush the Coup campaign in order to “make sure” we are ready to defend Democracy in 2024.

Clinton was swiftly criticized and called a “future electoral denier” by many social media users who felt that her comments were hypocritical. Many pointed out that Democrats and the mainstream media have frowned on Clinton denying the election results, while others simply asked Clinton to “go away”.
Beverly Hallberg, a Hill contributor, responded that this statement was a threat to democracy. It is amazing to see Hillary Clinton continue to lack self-awareness.
Andrew Gruel, the Chef, said that it was “just tiresome at this point.”
“This is no worse than what Kari lake & Trump do,” Meghan McCain, former co-host of “The View,” tweeted. This is what is really dangerous for democracy. If you have proof of a grand master election fraud scheme, notify the FBI. Don’t talk about it in interviews.

Hillary Clinton promotes Indivisible’s Crush the Coup campaign in order to “make sure that we’re ready for defense Democracy” by 2024.
In 2019, Hillary Clinton claimed that the 2016 election was “stolen” by her. Others had similar thoughts about Clinton setting the foundation for similar claims in 2024.
According to Indivisible’s website, the group was “brought together through a practical guide for resisting the Trump agenda” and it is “a movement of thousands of group leaders with more than a million members who take regular, iterative and increasingly complex actions resisting the GOP’s agenda and elect local champions and fight for progressive policies.”

This isn’t the first time Democrats are being called out on their hypocrisy regarding the issue. Monday’s ABC’s “The View” panel debated Sen. Ted Cruz (Republican from Texas) confronted hosts about election deniers, political violence on the right, and he was acquitted.
“There are many people in the media who try to, whenever a Republican is before a TV camera, try to say that ‘the election wasn’t fair and square and legitimate.’ But you know who you don’t do it to?” It doesn’t happen to Hillary Clinton, who stood up and declared that Trump stole the election. You guys are fine with that! Cruz said.
Before Cruz could finish his speech, the hosts attempted to talk over him.
Whoopi Goldberg stated, “That’s right!” It was! After Cruz cited Clinton’s and Abrams statements about stolen races,
Cruz confronted Goldberg about her hypocritical stance. “Oh, so it is illegitimate when Republicans lose, but not when Democrats gain?”
