A pregnant woman with a gun shot an assailant who was targeting her family while they were packing in a Arkansas garage after returning from ot state on Memorial Day.
KLRT , a FOX affiliate, reported that a Tennessee family had traveled to Little Rock for the seventh birthday of their daughter. The family’s identity was not revealed.

When the attack started, the father, his wife, and their two daughters had just finished packing up at the River Market Parking garage. Reports said that the man was beaten multiple times by another man and was tackled to the floor.

The second suspect struck his wife as well.
The father explained, “He only fractured one rib and my wife had a few knots on her face where he allegedly punched her.”
She shot the suspect in the neck with a gun before dialing 911. The suspect, who was shot, remains hospitalized. The other suspect remains on the loose.

The husband of the woman accused of shooting the suspect says the attack will not deter her from returning to the city.
He said, “We like to travel and we live in Memphis where this happens all the time. So I don’t think we will let it shine or cast a shadow on our lives.”
