On Monday, a woman was arrested for a rampage in Tompkins Square Park around 4 pm. She flipped tables, shouted at the people in the park and dragged a woman by her hair.
A woman lunged in the direction of a mother with a child, shocking onlookers.

According to the video, she first allegedly pulled the hair of a female sitting on a lawn, and then dragged the woman by her hair several inches.
She then lunged at a woman holding a baby, which caused a large crowd to scream and gasp.
The footage shows that the woman left the grassy area to find her next victim after the shouts.
As captured on video, the woman then smashed her drink on the ground and stole a newspaper from a man, shredding it into pieces before getting in front of a woman.
The woman started spitting at people after the NYPD arrived. Officers had to cover her up.
She was transported to Bellevue Hospital in order to undergo a medical examination.
