A sympathizer of ISIS threatened to “slaughter” cops and “kill a fat rat mayor” in a New York City suburb, during a St. Patrick’s Day Parade attended by tens or thousands of people.

After months of harassing messages and threats directed at Yonkers police officers and Yonkers city officials, Ridon Kola (32), was taken into custody Friday. He also faces federal charges for posting social media posts “declaring War on America”

Vallahi, Yonkers rats, will be the first to be crucified. According to the federal indictment, Kola allegedly wrote an anonymous letter to the Yonkers Police on Facebook March 9, according to the indictment.

“I will crucify Yonkers cops along McLean avenue. (sic). It will be a horror show. . . Allahu Ekberr.”

Threats Ridonkola allegedly sent to Yonkers Police

McLean Avenue is the site of New York’s largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade. It runs from the Bronx to southern Yonkers.

According to court documents, the phrase “AllahuEkberr” refers to an Arabic phrase which means “God is great”, and was used by radical Islamic extremists in connection with terrorist attacks.

On March 6, Kola sent a message to Yonkers Police stating that he was “looking for that officer who came to my home and threatened me and our family to death,” according to court documents.

“I’m going the burn the world till I find him Vallahi [by God], regardless of what happens, there will never again be peace in this land!” Allahu Ekberr,” Kola allegedly said.

Fox News Digital was informed by the mayor’s office that they didn’t understand what he meant in his March 6 message.

Kola’s threats against Yonkers officials and police go back to the end of 2021.

He allegedly sent Yonkers police a message in Albanian on November 19, 2021 that read, “I am going out to slaughter you little girls.”

He allegedly sent another message on Dec. 5, 2021 that stated, “Starting tomorrow I will start killing your officials just so you [sic] can know who is doing this, Ridon Kola Albanian Blood and I’m going after your fat rat mayor.”

According to court documents, Yonkers police officers went to Kola’s house the next day. He allegedly admitted to having sent the messages. The police searched Kola’s home, but did not find any weapons.

Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano thanked police officers for “thwarting the threat” in a statement sent to Fox News Digital. He also stated that he was looking forward to Saturday’s parade, which kicks off at noon.

“Threats such as these will not intimidate me from celebrating the many contributions to our Irish American community,” Spano stated. “I look forward proudly to leading the parade tomorrow, and I ask everyone to join me on McLean for this festive celebration.”

Federal prosecutors linked Kola to ISIS via several social media posts he made, including supportive messages for Sayfullo Saipov who was convicted of the terrorist attack on New York City’s bike path that resulted in the deaths of eight people.

Others mentioned jihad, which is the war against non-Muslims and the establishment of a “caliphate,” an Islamic state through violence. According to court documents,

Federal prosecutor Damian Williams stated in a statement that Ridon Kola allegedly posted threats to law enforcement on social media, stating his support of ISIS and his intent to kill many police officers.

“Undeterred by questioning from law enforcement Kola’s behavior escalated as he continued to promise police that his threats would be fulfilled.”
