This is not a principled conservative revolt against Kevin McCarthy, or a battle for conservatism. Tuesday’s Mark Levin Show reveals. Two ballots were cast by 19 Republicans against McCarthy as Speaker of the House, while 20 voted for him after a third. It’s not about supporting McCarthy. The American people are tired of seeing a few Republicans do this in Congress. We want the Biden administration to be investigated immediately and our borders protected now. The country is at the edge. Although the Freedom caucus has negotiated new rules for their group, they refuse to accept yes for an answer. Some, such as Andy Biggs and Matt Gaetz, hate McCarthy and refuses to vote for him. Jim Jordan could have run for speaker, but McCarthy has been nominated on every ballot. We must take on Democrats now. The Republicans are weakening their very small majority in the House, as people become disillusioned by their inaction. The national attention that Ron DeSantis’ election as Florida Governor isn’t getting isn’t due. Already, he’s being attacked by leftist media such as the Miami Herald and being smeared.
