KNOW-IT ALL NANCY: Pelosi Pooh Poohs Polling, Believes Dems are ‘In Great Condition’ for the Midterms

Democrats are in trouble – unless Nancy Pelosi asks.

Fox News reports that Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of House, dismissed polls suggesting a red wave. She said that Democrats are in “great shape” for the midterm election.

Pelosi made these comments in an interview with Punchbowl News, Wednesday after polls by The New York Times and Associated Press showed big gains for Republicans during the upcoming election, Fox reports.

Although the Speaker recognizes that inflation is a problem, she believes it will not impact midterms because of its “global” nature.

“Inflation is a global problem, but it’s a serious issue. It’s global. It’s global. They have nothing,” Pelosi said to PBN of Republicans. Inflation rises when unemployment is reduced. In any case, President Biden brought down unemployment and cut it in half. Although inflation is still a problem in certain countries, it’s not as severe as it is elsewhere. In the coming weeks, we will need to communicate it better. We’re in good shape, I believe. Others don’t believe it.”

Pelosi also stated that the vote would have a significant impact on voters next month, although there is very little evidence to support this claim.

From Fox News

Monday’s NYT poll revealed that 26% of respondents said the economy was their top concern, followed closely by inflation and living costs at 18%. Only 5% of voters ranked abortion third. The top five were also represented by immigration at 5% and crime at 3%.

Since Democrats received a boost in polls in July/August, President Biden’s polling numbers have fallen to 39% on Monday. According to a Fox News poll, 33% of Americans would vote to elect the president again.
