Jeff Bezos is getting married to Lauren Sanchez.
TODAY.com confirmed that the Amazon founder, 59 and the Emmy award-winning journalist 53 are engaged. has been linking the couple since January 2019 when people reported that they were dating.
They regularly share information about each other. Sanchez appeared on Bezos Instagram page for the first time in February 2020, when she and Bezos visited French President Emmanuel Macron’s office to discuss climate change and sustainability. Bezos, Sanchez and the Bezos Earth Fund are all involved in this fund. Bezos serves as executive chair while Sanchez is vice-chair.
Since then, they have shared many sweet photos. In January, Sanchez wrote a heartfelt Birthday message for Bezos and called him “the Man of (her) Dreams.”
She wrote, “You’ve shown me that great love does not come without a brave fight,” in the caption next to a carousel with moments they shared. “Thanks for always being there by my side, and for being a loving and supportive partner. I am grateful for all the memories and adventures we’ve had together. “Here’s to many, many more birthdays full of love and laughter.”
She wrote at the end of the post in Spanish how much she adored the entrepreneur.
She shared even more photos from their Valentine’s Day adventures in February. She captioned her slideshow, “My heart’s full.”
Bezos has paid tribute to Sanchez, and other women who are important in his life on Instagram for Mother’s Day.
“Happy Mother’s Day, my beautiful, amazing mom and all the incredible moms in my lives.” He said, “I love you, mom!” and attached a picture of him standing next to Sanchez, Jacklyn, Bezos and four other women.
Former Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos was married to MacKenzie Scott between 1993 and 2019. Scott’s 4% share in Amazon was valued at more than $36 billion when they divorced, making it the most costly divorce in history.
According to , People, Scott and Bezos have three sons and a daughter.
Sanchez was married to Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell from 2005 until 2019. Two children were born to the former couple. She also has a 22-year old son, Nikko Gonzalez. He is her child with Tony Gonzalez, a former NFL player and ex-partner.
