Louisiana teenager missing after going overboard while celebrating graduation in Bahamas

Bahamian and U.S. authorities are searching for a teenager who went overboard Wednesday night while celebrating graduation.

Authorities in the Bahamas and United States are looking for a teenager that went overboard while celebrating his graduation on Wednesday night.

Louisiana State University confirmed that Cameron Robbins (18) went to Atlantis Paradise in Nassau to celebrate his high school graduation with other teens from Baton Rouge.

Robbins graduated on Sunday from University Lab High School which is part of LSU.

The U.S. Coast Guard announced Thursday that their crews are assisting the Royal Bahamas Defense Force to search for an American who has gone missing after a “sunset voyage.”

The Royal Bahamas Defense Force didn’t immediately respond to an inquiry for comment.

According to LSU, the trip was not sanctioned by the school. It is unclear how many recent graduates took part in the trip.
