Donald Trump, former president and candidate for 2024, has released a video detailing his plans to stop illegal immigration on his first day in office.
Trump’s plan is to stop “illegal foreign invasion” of the United States and deter birthright citizenship with an Executive Order.
In the video, Trump stated that “This policy is an incentive for breaking laws in the United States. It is also a magnet which helps draw the floods of illegals to our borders.” “They come in millions, millions and millions.” “They come from mental hospitals, jails and prisoners. Some of the toughest and meanest people that you will ever see.”
Trump stated that the United States was one of the few countries that said that, even if the parents are not citizens or even legally in the country, they will automatically become citizens the moment their parents enter our territory. This has been argued by many scholars.
“[Joe Biden’s] current policies are based on an historical myth and a willful misinterpretation by open border advocates. They aren’t very many. It is amazing to think that people would want to bring in prisoners, sick people, and people from mental hospitals. “And they will come, they are coming in thousands and tens thousands.”
Trump stated that as part of his plan to secure our border, he would sign an executive order to inform federal agencies, “Under the correct interpretation, future children of illegal immigrants will not automatically receive US citizenship,” going forward. This is to discourage illegal immigrants from moving here so that their children can earn US citizenship through birth.
My order will also stop the unfair practice of birth tourism where thousands of women from around the world squat in hotels during their last few weeks pregnant to illegally and illegitimately obtain US citizenship. They then exploit chain migration later to get green cards and visas for themselves and family members.
