Maxwell Frost, Florida Democratic Rep., hurls an f-bomb at DeSantis onstage during Paramore concert

Rep. Maxwell Frost trashed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in a profane onstage shout to the crowd during a Paramore concert in Washington, D.C., on Friday night.

Maxwell Frost (D-Fla.) slammed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis shouted a profanity at the audience during Friday’s Paramore concert in Washington, D.C.

In a retweeted video by Frost the freshman congressman can be heard saying, “f— Ron DeSantis”, and “f— Fascism”, which was met with cheers.

He tweeted: “I said what i said.”

Frost also tweeted a video showing him singing along to “Misery Business” by the band, as well as pictureshe snapped with Hayley Williams after and during the concert. The band invited surprise guests to sing the song at recent concerts promoting their new album.

“Very grateful for the moment.” He tweeted, “I’ve been practicing the dance in the shower for YEARS.”

NBC News did not receive a response from DeSantis immediately after requesting a comment.

Frost was the first member of Generation Z elected to Congress at age 25 after winning the Florida midterm election. Prior to entering Congress, Frost was the national organizing director for March for Our Lives. This anti-gun violence organization was born out of the Parkland shooting in 2018. Gun violence had been a focus point for his campaign.

Frost is a vocal critic of DeSantis who is running in the GOP presidential election for 2024.

In a interview with CNN, Frost accused DeSantis in March of “fascism,” for his policies that targeted Black, transgender, and LGBTQ people.

“But we must call it what it is. He abuses his power, and uses the state to target political rivals and political enemies. “There’s a term for it, it’s called fascism. We have to be honest,” he said.
