MAYORKAS IS LIEING OR STUPID: U.S. Border Chief Confirms It Doesn’t Have Operational Control of Border

The consensus is Mayorkas is lying or stupid.

Mayorkas is either lying or stupid, according to the consensus.

On Thursday, Raul Ortiz, the Chief of Border Patrol, testified at a House Homeland Security Committee hearing. His testimony directly contradicts Alejandro Mayorkas’ statements.

Chairman Rep. Mark Green (R. TN) called Ortiz’s testimony, “earth-shattering.”

“In five out of those nine southwest border sections, we have witnessed an increase in flow which has caused a significant strain on our resources and has really forced the Border Patrol so agents and migrants to some other areas,” Ortiz stated in response to a question regarding the border being secure.

Green asked Ortiz: “Does DHS operate control over our entire border?”

“No sir.”

Mayorkas claimed previously that the U.S. held operational control over the border.

Chairman Mark Green spoke out about these takeaways in a Fox News Digital interview on Thursday.

“I knew he was a straight-talking, honest guy. We prepared. So we did our homework. He said that if you combine the two, you get what you see, which is pretty earth-shattering stuff.”

Green stated to Fox that the committee will be looking for additional testimony following Wednesday’s hearing, despite the ongoing border crisis and the imminent end of Title 42 expulsions. Mayorkas is likely one of the witnesses that the committee would like to hear. Green stated that the committee will have many questions for DHS chief.

He said, “I think we need to talk to all sector chiefs but definitely the five that are dealing with the overflow right at the moment and get their views.” “Then Secretary Mayorkas will have to answer the question: Did he lie to Congress, or is he simply ignorant about what operational security means.”

August Pfluger (Republican from Texas), questioned Ortiz during the hearing and praised the Chief’s handling of what Republicans acknowledged to be a difficult situation.

“Chief Ortiz deserves to be commended for walking the fine line, as one my other colleagues said. He was respectful of the political hierarchy but also told the truth and said enough is enough.”
