Fox News Digital reported that the Missouri ER Doctor, whose body was discovered in an Arkansas Lake on Tuesday, was murdered.
A press release from the Benton County Sheriff’s Office said that a kayaker called 911 after discovering John Forsyth’s body in Beaver Lake.
Richard Forsyth said that his brother was killed. Officials refused to comment whether Forsyth was the one who injured himself.
Richard said that detectives had visited the family on Wednesday evening and were treating it as a murder. They said that it was important to know that the autopsy had not yet been completed and no report had been released.

The body found in Beaver Lake, northwest Arkansas of Dr. John Forsyth who disappeared on May 21.
Richard said that Benton County Sheriff’s Office will not reveal too many details in order to preserve the integrity of the investigation, but assures the family they have devoted a lot of resources to this case.
Richard said that he was shocked to hear the news and it blew away all his theories. He had thought that his brother would have disappeared to protect him and others.

The nature of the danger is still a mystery to his family. Forsyth disappeared May 21, after finishing his shift at Mercy Hospital, Cassville. Cassville is a small town in the Ozarks with a population of around 3,000.
The father of eight completed his divorce by mid-May, with an order requiring him to pay $19,000 per month in child support and alimony.
Before their most recent split, the couple had divorced before and remarried. Ryan Ricketts is the divorce lawyer for his ex-wife. She told Fox News Digital that she was “very shellshocked by Forsyth’s death”.

Forsyth proposed his fiancee a few days after receiving the divorce decree. He was texting her when suddenly he stopped replying to their messages.
The Cassville Police Department found his black Infiniti that night about a mile away from the hospital, near a landfill.

The wallet still contained two phones, a car key, and a passport. The RV, where he stays while working at the hospital, was unlocked. It contained three more phones, a laptop and his keys.
The Missouri State Police and Cassville Police Department conducted a thorough ground and canine investigation and found no evidence.

Forsyth’s family was shocked and worried about their safety after discovering his body in northwest Arkansas, an hour away.
Richard stated, “We do not know who hurt him or why and if they intend to continue with their aggression.”

A friend told the brother shortly after Forsyth disappeared that he was kidnapped in February 2022 and then released.
“It was cold.” He was zip-tied. Richard stated that he was threatened and made to feel unsafe. He was taken in a car with other people and driven to a bridge.
