There is something strange going on.
A New York Post report claims that NBC News pulled down a story that revealed shocking new details about the Paul Pelosi case. This included Pelosi’s original refusal to indicate an emergency to police.
NBC removed the news clip and the report from its website within minutes of posting.
From The New York Post :
The clip that Paul Pelosi (82) answered the door for police who responded to a 911 call in San Francisco, said that the officers “seemingly did not know” they were called to the House speaker’s home.
Pelosi did not “declare an Emergency” or attempt to leave but instead walked backwards into the foyer towards David DePape, an armed attacker who broke into the house last Friday. Sources told NBC that DePape was carrying a hammer.
According to the report, sources close to the matter said that it was not clear what Pelosi’s mental health was or if he had been injured.
The NBC Friday report was removed with the explanation that “The piece shouldn’t have aired since it didn’t meet NBC News reporting standards.”
This report contradicts court documents in DePape’s case, which stated that Pelosi “nervously and calmly” greeted officers in a dimly lit foyer.
