NYC Manhunt for Sundance Oliver ends after string of shootings and 2 homicides.

The NYPD apprehended 28-year-old suspect Sundance Oliver following a massive manhunt across New York City after three shootings that left a 17-year-old girl and a 21-year-old man dead.

On Tuesday, a suspect aged 28 was taken into custody in connection to a string of shootings throughout New York City.

Sundance Oliver was involved in the massive manhunt, which sparked level 3 mobilization.

In connection with a string three shootings in 24 hours, he was wanted for the murders of a 17 year-old girl in Crown Heights and a Lower Manhattan man.

Fox News Digital confirmed that Oliver was currently in Brooklyn custody as of Tuesday morning.

Oliver, who is said to have 12 previous arrests, was accused in an attack on a Brooklyn woman he tried to rob early Monday morning. But instead he struck a 96 year-old man. Later, he allegedly shot a 21-year old man from the sixth floor of an apartment building in Lower Manhattan. Police said that he shot and killed a 17 year old girl in a Brooklyn apartment hours later.

At a press conference, NYPD Commissioner Keechant sewell stated that he is a dark-skinned black male, aged 28 and approximately 6’2 inches tall. He has the letters M, G and large green rose flowers tattooed on his right side. The words “rich 4 ever” are above his right eye. He is extremely dangerous and armed.

“The NYPD is currently on high alert. “We have covered the city with our special operations and detective, patrol, transit, and housing bureaus,” Sewell said. He asked anyone with information about Oliver’s whereabouts, to immediately call 911 or CRIME STOPPERS AT 1-800-577-7777.

The NYPD tweeted an update Tuesday morning saying that the suspect was wanted for an additional murder. He is dangerous and armed. Call 911 immediately if you see him.

Officers from Brooklyn’s 77th Precinct responded to a 911 call about a 96 year old man who had been shot in his right ankle. The victim was stabilized at a local hospital.

After trying to rob a woman, the shooter fired a gun at her. Police said that the bullet did not strike the victim but the elderly male victim. The suspect fled on foot.

Lower Manhattan officers from the 5th precinct responded at 2:40 to a 911 call regarding a man who had been shot several times in an apartment building. Officers located the victim on the sixth floor. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was declared dead within an hour.

Just before midnight, officers from the 73rd Precinct received a second 911 call regarding a female shot in Brooklyn’s Kingsborough Houses. Officers arrived and confirmed that there had been a female shot at the chest. The victim was taken to a local hospital where she died at 12:45. According to police, the shooter was the exact same person in all three incidents.
