NYC Subway Station: Man stabbed in the chest

New York City police are searching Wednesday for a suspect who allegedly stabbed another man in the chest inside of a subway station in the Queens borough.

The New York City Police Department has begun searching for a suspect accused of stabbing a man inside a subway station.

The incident occurred at 1:20 a.m. on Monday, at the 111th St station of the Richmond Hills neighborhood in Queens.

Fox News Digital was informed by the NYPD that the victim, a 23-year-old male, was approached by an unknown male who engaged him in a verbal argument that turned into a physical altercation.

police stated that the individual used a cutting tool and stabbed his victim in the chest. “The individual fled to unknown parts.”

According to the NYPD, the stabbing occurred inside the Queens subway station. (NYPD)

The victim was in stable condition when he was transferred to the hospital.

In a surveillance photo released to police, the suspect was last seen wearing ripped pants, a white shirt with black stripes, and a trucker hat in white and black.
