Philadelphia man dies after being shot 12 times: police

A 31-year-old Philadelphia man, Quintin Jones, has died after being shot 12 times Monday night during a double shooting in North Philadelphia, police say.

Police say that a 31-year old man died in Philadelphia after he was struck 12 times in a double shooting.

Fox News Digital was informed by the Philadelphia Police Department that the victims were found Monday night around 9:23 PM. They had been responding to a call regarding a “person with guns” in the northern area of the city.

Quintin Jones was one of the victims. He was hit “12 times”, according to a police spokesperson.

Jones was taken to the local hospital and succumbed to his injuries 13 minutes after arriving on the scene by police.

After sustaining a gunshot to the head, a second male in his 20s was declared dead on the spot.

No arrests have been made or weapons recovered as of Tuesday.

The investigation is being conducted by the homicide unit of Philadelphia Police Department.
