Police identify Rhode Island shooting victims

Rhode Island police have identified the victims of a Johnston double homicide as Janet Harrison, 83, and Thomas May, 44. May's teenage daughter was also shot, but will likely survive.

Rhode Island On Thursday, police released the names and locations of two people who were shot by a man from the town of Johnston. The police shot him to death.

In her home, police found the body of Janet Harrison (83), mother of James Harrison (52). The police also discovered the 44-year-old body of Thomas May in his garage.

May’s daughter, 15, was also shot but is expected to survive.

The police report that the incident started as a dispute between neighbors and family members.

James Harrison fled the house and was caught by police when they spotted him in Cranston, where he was fatally shot by police after he jumped out of his car with a firearm.

There were no injuries to officers.
