Police say a California woman is wanted for stealing the victim’s puppy after she was attacked in broad daylight.

A woman is wanted in Bell Gardens, California, after authorities say she violently assaulted another woman and stole her Maltipoo puppy in broad daylight on Monday.

Authorities say that a woman was wanted by California after she attacked another woman on a street corner and then stole her dog in broad daylight on Monday.

The victim’s Maltipoo puppy was taken by the suspect in the robbery, which took place on the east side of the 6600 block of Eastern Avenue in Bell Gardens.

Police said that the suspect pepper-sprayed the victim in the face and violently attacked the victim when she tried to return her puppy.

Police released surveillance footage from a nearby store that shows the suspect and victim engaging in a fight before the suspect punches the victim. The pair are being walked around by a passerby who doesn’t stop.
