Police say that a man arrested in Virginia at a preschool had an AK-47 and told them he was heading to the CIA.

A man accused of trespassing at a Virginia preschool had an AK-47 rifle in his car and told officers he was headed to the CIA, police said Wednesday.

Police said that a man accused of trespassing in a Virginia preschool was driving with an AK47 rifle and had told officers he would be heading to the CIA.

According to a press release from the Fairfax County Police Department, Eric Sandow, 32 of Florida, was charged with felony possession on school property after the incident occurred at the Dolley Madison preschool in McLean.

Police said that officers found Sandow who informed them that “he was on his way to CIA”. The CIA headquarters are located in Langley in Fairfax County, about a mile from the CIA.

According to the statement, Sandow was not armed when authorities arrested him. They also executed a warrant for a vehicle search. Police said that two firearms had been recovered.

The department posted a picture of the weapons on its twitter page. The photo included an AK-47 handgun, a cache or ammunition, and several magazines. The police have not stated why the suspect kept the guns in his vehicle.

In a press release, the school stated that Sandow trespassed onto grounds of Immanuel Church and Dolley Madison School. Both share an address.

The school denied him access to the facilities in the building to use the toilet. The school stated that he never gained physical access to the building.

Sandow was arrested after Sandow called the police.

He is still in the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. It’s not known if Sandow is represented by a lawyer.
