Trump, a Republican, and the leader in the “Make America Great Again” movement, announced Tuesday his third presidential bid during a speech at Mar-a-Lago’s Florida home. He had teased that he would be running again after he left office in 2021.
In 2016, he won the presidency against Hillary Clinton, who was then Secretary of State. He would be the second president to retake WhiteHouse, after being ousted in 2016. This feat was achieved in 1892 by Grover Cleveland, who lost the presidency to Benjamin Harrison 1888. Trump would be the 45th and 47th presidents if he wins.
