According to a report by The New York Postthe executives responsible for overseeing The Atlanticprofile piece on the ousted CNN CEO Chris Licht were let go from their company.

Insider sources have revealed that CNN is planning to “clean up” its house.

Sources tell us that the network’s communications department is being cleaned up by the execs. This department was responsible for the article, which revealed everything from Licht’s dislike of the work done by its journalists under the former boss to his exercise routine.

Matt Dornic, senior vice president for communications at CNN, has been fired. He was described in the article ” inside the meltdown at CNN ” as an “omnipresent figure” and as a “mainstay of Licht’s small entourage”.

He has been with the company since 2011.

According to another source, Kris Coratti Kelly was cleaning her desk yesterday night.

Licht, who was building his leadership team in July last year, brought Kelly on board as he filled out the position.

Warner Bros. made a phone call Wednesday morning. Discovery CEO David Zaslav announced that he had begun a “thorough internal and external search” to find a new CEO.

Zaslav is also responsible for the mess at the Ted Turner-built house.
