The lines are being drawn.
Elise Stefanik, Number 3 House Republican Representative (R-NY), has endorsed Donald Trump for his yet to be announced second White House bid in 2024. Stefanik said it was “very clear” that Trump is the party leader.
“Republican voters decide who is the leader in the Republican Party, and it is clear that President Trump is the leader. “What the media doesn’t report is that we just won midterms, and flipped the House,” Stefanik stated to Breitbart News in an interview.

Republicans had hoped to win more House seats than Republicans on Tuesday. They believed that President Biden’s popularity and voter dissatisfaction over high crime rates and high inflation and Democratic governors’ handlings of the COVID-19 pandemic would lead to a “Red Tsunami.” But, it was clear that many toss-up races were heading the Democrats’ direction, while other races that will decide control of the House or Senate were too close to call.
Some of Trump’s closest advisors recommend that he postpone his 2024 announcement (rumored to be next Tuesday) until after the Georgia senator runoff.
Jason Miller, a former Trump advisor, told the Associated Press that he would advise him to delay his announcement until after the Georgia election. Miller was at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home on Tuesday night, watching the election results.
Miller stated that Georgia should be at the center of all Republican efforts in the country.
Kayleigh McEnany, former Trump White House press secretary, and co-host of “Outnumbered”, agrees.
McEnany stated Wednesday that he was advising any presidential contender (DeSantis or Trump), but no one will announce 2024 until Dec. 6.
