Texas Governor Greg Abbott continues sending buses north to sanctuary regions — including right outside the home of Vice President Kamal Harris in Washington D.C. Abbott amounted to more than 8,400 migrants since April.
From New York Post:
The newcomers who claimed they were from Nicaragua were captured getting off the bus wrapped in blankets to keep them warm and carrying their belongings out of the Naval Observatory at 7:15 a.m.
NBC News’ Gary Grumbach tweeted the news that new arrivals, including young children, were met immediately by volunteers from humanitarian organization SAMU First Response. They assessed their needs and determined their travel plans before loading them onto vans heading for the headquarters.

The Biden presidency has seen record numbers of migrants cross the border — with an unprecedented 2.4million people entering the US in the 2022 fiscal year.
Between September and October at least three buses from Texas brought more than 125 migrants to Harris’ doorstep. This was after the VP said in NBC’s “Meet the Press” interview that the US has a “secure border”.
Recent Customs and Border Protection data shows that migrant arrests have nearly doubled under the Biden administration and are already higher than last year’s record.
