Tennessee authorities arrested two people in connection to the disappearance, death and disappearance Chelsie Walker (a mother of two).
Monroe County Sheriff Tommy Jones made the announcement in a Sunday Facebook posting and stated that charges were forthcoming against the suspects, but has not provided any additional information.
Madisonville Police Department stated that Walker, 24, was last seen in Madison at a Walmart on Oct. 29. Walker’s Facebook page lists one of her jobs at Walmart as an online grocery pick-up worker.
Jones stated in a Facebook post that Monroe County detectives had “later gathered evidence” that Chelsie Walker was last seen at Tellico Plains, Tennessee.

Madisonville PD and the sheriff’s office both located the remains of the mother, aged 24, “in a remote part of Monroe County,,” Jones stated.

Walker was remembered by friends and acquaintances as a loving, kind woman who loved her children deeply.

Walker posted a Sept. 26 Facebook message in which he shared a Bible verse about death that reflects on Psalm 23,:4: “Even if I walk through valley of shadow of death. I will not fear evil.” Your rod and your staff are my comfort.

It is not clear how Walker disappeared or what the involvement of the two people in custody in Walker’s disappearance and her death was.
