Brits are punishing President Biden in the media for his decision to miss King Charles III’s Coronation this weekend. Nile Gardiner who was Margaret Thatcher’s adviser says, “He’s becoming unpopular in the British public’s eyes.”
Gardiner: “I think the British press has turned strongly against Biden.” There has been much criticism in the U.K. about Biden’s refusal to attend. He’s becoming an unpopular president among the British people. “I think that this is the latest insult to America’s closest ally and friend.”

Biden chose not to join a long list of government and state heads who planned to attend the coronation. He was facing a growing investigation into influence peddling and a free-falling approval rating following his announcement that he would be running for reelection. His wife Jill Biden will represent the absent leader at the ceremony.
Gardiner, the director of Heritage Foundation’s Thatcher Center for Freedom, told the TV show “Just the News, No Noise”, “That’s Joe Biden for me, and I find him to be a rude and arrogant President.” “He wasn’t bothered enough to come over for the coronation.” “The coronation is a very important event for British people.”
