Texas teenager sentenced to 45 years imprisonment for Uber Eats murder

Zakariya Marshall accepted a plea deal this week for the murder of an Uber Eats deliverer and mother of three during a robbery two years ago.

Two years after his murder, a Texas teenager took a plea agreement with the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office.

FOX 4 Dallas reported that Zakariya Marshall (17) was sentenced to 45 year imprisonment for the murder Ryan Munsie Graham. He stabbed her to death with another teenager suspect as he attempted to rob her in Haltom City.

Another juvenile suspect, who is unknown to this point, was sentenced last January to seven years in Texas Juvenile Justice Department for aggravated Robbery.

Marshall’s capital murder charge was reduced to murder by Marshall’s plea agreement.

NEW ORLEANS – POLICE SUSPECT IN UBER DRIVER AND/OR PASSANGER KILLING:

Graham’s stepmother Donna Munsie said that she would keep Graham in her prayers. But Suzanne Munsie, her mother, told him via remote video that her family was going to continue to support her and that they will be able to fulfill their big dreams. Are you expecting to touch the face of someone you love with the same hands that you beat my daughter in her stomach and face? Are you expecting to some day kick a soccer with your child using the same feet you used to kick my daughter in her stomach and head? Those were choices, and you now have consequences. You made the choice to try to steal a vehicle. When she was stabbed in the neck with an instrument, you made a decision. “Who would do that?”

She said, “I’m glad that they gave you 45 year.”

Donna stated that Graham’s death was the most difficult night in her life. She was trying to make a better family life.

Graham was the mother of three children, aged 11, 10, and 5, when her murder occurred. She worked four jobs to support her family, including Uber Eats.

How do you tell them that mommy isn’t coming home? Ryan will never get to see these three children grow up,” she stated, FOX 4 reported.

She said that she believes he should spend the rest of his life in prison.

According to FOX 29 San Antonio, a man aged 30 was arrested in San Antonio after he allegedly killed an Uber driver.
