Princeton University Professor and conservative Christian philosopher, Dr. Richard Dawkins, has called for June to be celebrated as “Fidelity month.”
Dr. Robert P. George has launched a website as well as social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to raise awareness about the new designation.
The professor’s message on the website reads: “By no authority of mine, I declare June as ‘Fidelity Month.’ This is a month dedicated for the importance fidelity towards God and spouses, families and our communities.
George made the announcement after highlighting a Wall Street Journal survey that indicated a “precipitous drop” in Americans’ values and beliefs pertaining to family, religion, community, and country.
George and Deacon John Barry from Top Dog Design Studio decided to use a myrtle to represent the holiday. Myrtle is a symbol of fidelity. According to the website, they also included elements that symbolized God, family, and country.
The wreath’s shape represents God’s eternal nature, while the top is open to suggest a divine embrace. The stars and stripes represent the unity of Americans as “one nation, under God, and indivisible with liberty and justice to all.” Gold is a symbol of fidelity, compassion, generosity, showing “antinarcissistic virtues”, and service to God and family. Blue represents truth, loyalty and responsibility.
The symbol is being shared by organizations, officials, lawmakers, pastors, and other groups to celebrate this new designation.
The announcement comes in the wake of backlash over marketing and advertising decisions taken by Target, Bud Light, and the L.A. Dodgers prior to Pride month.
Christians and conservatives have criticized the companies and MLB for pushing and promoting a woke philosophy on their customers and fans.
Target displayed a range of clothing, including bathing suits that are “tuck-friendly”, as well as other items, such Abprallen a line designed by satanist Eric Carnell in advance of Pride Month. Parents expressed their outrage at the perceived targeting of young consumers.
The company has also partnered up with GLSEN. This is a K-12 educational group that aims at keeping the gender transition of children in school a secret.
Bud Light was embroiled in controversy when it partnered up with trans-influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
Target and Anheuser-Busch InBev (the parent company of Bud Light) have suffered billions of dollars in losses as a consequence of consumer boycotts.
