While speaking during a campaign stop at Manchester Community College in Manchester, New Hampshire on Thursday, Florida Governor and 2024 presidential candidate Ron DeSantis took a moment to wish Joe Biden a speedy recovery from his recent trip and fall —but couldn’t resist poking a little fun at the POTUS.
“We hope & wish Joe Biden a swift recovery from any injuries he may have sustained, but we also wish the U.S.A. a swift recovery from the injuries it has sustained because of Joe Biden and his policies,” DeSantis joked.
Earlier in the day, President Biden tripped on a sandbag while addressing the U.S. Air Force Academy during a graduation ceremony.
Don’t worry —Joe’s okay. The POTUS later quipped to the press “I got sandbagged!”
