Officials said that a Pennsylvania woman, who entered the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, and demanded House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to be brought to the mob to face them was sentenced Tuesday to more than 2 years in prison.

Court documents show that Pauline Bauer, age 55, shouted “bring here out” and “we are coming in if we don’t get her out” near the House Speaker’s Office during the attack of 2021.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for Washington, D.C., in a statement, announced that Bauer had been sentenced to two years and three month in prison.

In January, she was found guilty at a bench-trial — meaning that a judge, not a jury, heard the case — on charges including obstruction of an official procedure, entering and staying in a restricted area, disorderly conduct or disruption in a prohibited area, and others.

A lawyer listed as her attorney did not respond immediately to a comment request.

The prosecution said Bauer was one of the supporters of Donald Trump, who stormed into the U.S. Capitol in 2021 as Congress counted the electoral votes to confirm Trump’s defeat.

Trump and his supporters spread lies about 2020 elections, and Trump falsely claimed that Vice President Mike Pence at the time could stop the proceedings. Pence said he did not have the authority to stop the proceedings.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said that Bauer also shoved a Washington Police officer during an altercation and was removed physically from the area, by officers wearing riot gear.

Bauer’s lawyer argued in favor of a period without further imprisonment and a period under supervision. In a sentencing memo, he wrote that Bauer regrets her actions and accepts responsibility. She also writes that she poses no danger to society.

According to the government’s sentence memo, prosecutors sought 78-months of imprisonment, or 6-1/2 years.

Bauer allegedly threatened to kill Pelosi, who was the Democratic House Speaker at the time. Bauer reportedly yelled “They’re criminals.” “They need to hang,” and threatened to hang Pelosi.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said that Bauer, in addition to his prison sentence, was also given a 24 month supervised release as well as a $2,000 penalty.
