According to Chief James Fry of Moscow Police Department, two roommates were at the Moscow house while four University of Idaho students were shot and killed early Sunday morning. They didn’t call 911 until noon to report the incident.
According to Moscow Mayor Art Bettge, Ethan Chapin (20), Xana Kernodle (20), Madison Mogen (21) and Kaylee Goncalves (21) were killed in a residence on King Road between 3 and 4 a.m.
Police located the students who were deceased while responding to a 911 call about an unconscious person Sunday morning at 11:58.
Police said Tuesday that the suspect used an “edged tool such as a knife” during the attack. They also stated that investigators believed the incident to be “an isolated, targeted attack” that did not pose a threat to the community.
Fry stated in a Wednesday evening press conference that two of his roommates were present at the house during the attack.

He said that the roommates were both “unhurt” and did not say if they were witnesses to the deaths of the four students.
Fry stated that police do not have a suspect as of Wednesday night and that they are trying to find a person of interest.

According to the police chief, he could not definitively state that there is no threat to the community.
Fry stated that they do not currently have any suspects and cannot declare there is no threat to this community. Fry said that there is “possible threat out there.”

After the press conference, Aaron Snell, spokesperson for Idaho State Police, told Fox News Digital that Fry did not misunderstand.
Snell stated that Chief Fry’s comment wasn’t misunderstood. “As there are still suspects, there is a threat. It is believed that this was a targeted attack.

Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves and their children were seen together on Twitch at a food truck in Moscow (Idaho) shortly before they were shot to death at their home near the University of Idaho campus.
The Twitch video of both women was viewed at 1:41 AM on Sunday morning. They left the area near the food truck at 1:15 AM.
